The Long Road to London

The ‘Long Road to London’ presentation took place on 13th April 2012 at the a hotel partner in London. It was a wonderful evening for all who were there.

Guests listened to inspiring testimony from a British Paralympian who was born in Kenya, about disability in the developing world. They also saw the first footage from a documentary about the training and hopes of the athletes in Haiti .

Enough money for the Athletes needs in Haiti was raised through a raffle and auction of donated prizes, and many offers of practical support and encouragement were generated , although more is needed to realise ‘The Dream ’

Launch

The Dream began on 15th September 2011 with a series of events held throughout London to connect with Members of Parliament, supporters, corporate partners and the media with an invitation to join this exciting and potentially historic movement.

The goal is to raise funds through partnerships and individual donations that will contribute to the team costs and serve as a starting point for providing long-term sports infrastructure for disabled athletes in Haiti.
